 | What has been your greatest accomplishment, or what you are most proud of, thus far in your career? |
It was a big step for me to come to Nashville my senior year and attend a private boarding school, so I could work on my CD when I was out of class each week. It was difficult leaving my friends and missing those senior-year moments you look forward to all of high school, but I chose my music and put everything else behind me. I can't regret that. |

 | What can you tell us about your upcoming album, All on My Own? |
"All on My Own" is a contemporary album; two my own songs, and four others from phenomenal writers here in Nashville. This was the first time I was in a studio, and to be honest, the first couple days were terrifying. But after the initial shock, it felt natural to be making my music in a studio. The tracks on this album really show a lot about who I am. I stand true to the meaning behind the lyrics in each one of them. |

 | What projects are you currently working on at this time? |
Now living in Nashville, I am very occupied with rehearsals, meetings, and writing sessions. Even though I have recorded my CD sampler and am constantly doing shows here in Nashville and other states, I practice and attend lessons to try and be better than I was yesterday. Enough is never enough with me and I know if I keep pushing I will get a deal soon.
On September 16th I will be performing at the TN state fair here in Nashville. My first show starts at 6:30
On September 28th I will be the opening act for Tracy Bryd at the Parhrump Fall Festival in NV starting at 7pm

 | When you are not working on music, what do you find yourself doing? |
I love hanging out with my friends. Whether it's a lifetime movie night or a night on the town, we have a ball here in Nashville. Coming from a small town, I have always been a big family person. With two sisters I was rarely board.
I also find songwriting very therapeutic. Many people have forgotten what it's like just to write about the way their feeling instead of trying to write a hit. Songwriting is something I've done for years and has helped me through hard times. I believe God gave us all gifts, and it should be a priority to perfect and share them with others.

 | How do you view the country music industry right now? Where do you fit in? |
I love the industry, which is why I am at Belmont University as a music business student trying to learn more. Over the past few years, country music has been in a transition. There are so many different styles out now: you have a range, from classics all the way up to the more contemporary sound. As an artist, I would consider myself the latter. I love the classics and have learned a lot from them as far as my song writing goes. I would definitely say my music has a very country, pop influence. I want to bring more young people back into country music. A lot of kids feel that country music targets an older audience, and that's simply not the case. I want to follow artists like Shania Twain and LeAnn Rhymes in changing that perception. |

 | What do you feel it takes to be successful in this industry? |
Drive and God-given talent are the most important things in the industry. If you ask anyone in Nashville, they will tell you that it all starts with a great song. As an artist, to find that point in your career where it all comes together, you must be persistent, confident, and true to yourself. No matter how amazing things become in your life, you still have to remember where you came from and who helped you to get to the top. If you do these things you will always find a way to achieve your goal. |

 | What do you want to tell your fans? |
You have to believe in yourself. Whether you are out with a group of friends or running for president, you have to be sure of what you believe in and what you stand for. I want my music to relate to people in love, having fun, and just plane ol' making it through each day. I know things get hard, but I have trusted in God to take care of me and somehow things always work out. |
